DESCRIPTION:Tennessee legislators are proposing new state laws to deny certain immigrant children the right to a public K-12 education\, in direct defiance of the US Constitution and our country’s long history of providing every child access to a basic education. \nThe outcome of the bills in Tennessee will affect not only children in Tennessee but every undocumented child across the country for many years to come. In response\, we must build a broad and powerful movement in TN that lifts up the right of every child to learn\, grow\, and thrive.
